Position Overview: As a Team Member at Glide Xpress Car Wash, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our car wash facility. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure a positive experience for our customers while upholding our high standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with payment transactions, and provide friendly and efficient service throughout their car wash experience.
- Car Wash Operations: Perform various tasks related to car wash operations, including prepping vehicles, guiding customers onto the wash conveyor, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of the car wash process, ensuring thorough cleaning and drying of vehicles while adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the car wash facility, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash receptacles as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper operating guidelines for equipment and machinery.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other team members to optimize workflow, minimize wait times, and provide support as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a positive and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns and promoting additional services or membership programs as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred but not required
